Reservation and Cancellation Policy

Reservations for which no valid credit/debit card details are provided, which have not been prepaid, or for which no deposit has been made in advance are considered by the hotel as non-guaranteed reservations.

Non-guaranteed reservations are held by the hotel until the date specified in the confirmation letter or, if no such date is mentioned, until 12:00 PM on the day of arrival. After this time, the hotel reserves the right to release the room without prior notice.

Reservations

For individual reservations, guaranteed or prepaid:

  • The cancellation deadline without penalty is five days prior to arrival. The advance payment will be refunded within 30 days of the cancellation request. In case of cancellation and refund of the advance payment, a handling fee of 25 RON, plus bank charges, will be applied.

  • For cancellations made less than five days but up to 48 hours before arrival, the equivalent of the first night’s accommodation will be charged, deducted from the prepaid advance.

  • For cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival, or in case of no-show after 19:00 on the arrival date, the full amount of the reservation will be charged, deducted from the prepaid advance.

  • In the case of non-refundable reservations, all amounts paid remain non-refundable.

  • In case of no-show (after 7:00 p.m. on the day of arrival), the hotel reserves the right to release the room(s) for the rest of the stay.

General Conditions

  • Early check-in (before 16:00) and late check-out (after 11:00) may be granted depending on hotel availability and may involve additional charges.

  • Completion of the registration form is mandatory.

  • Accommodation is granted upon presentation of an identity document and a valid credit card for guaranteeing the stay.

Guarantee Policy

  • Guaranteeing the stay requires pre-authorization on the credit card of an amount equal to the value of the booked but unpaid services, plus a Deposit of 100 RON/room/night for extra services (mini-bar, bar/restaurant, massages, etc.).

  • If no extra services are due at check-out, the Deposit will be released.

  • Failure to present an identity document and provide a guarantee by credit card will result in the cancellation of the reservation, and any amounts paid in advance will remain non-refundable.

Room Allocation

  • Rooms are allocated depending on the hotel’s availability on the day of check-in.

  • For this reason, we cannot guarantee a specific room number, a specific floor, or adjacent rooms.

  • Such requests are treated as guest preferences, which we try to honor within availability limits.

  • The same rules apply to reservations at the Kogaion Restaurant.

Guest accommodation

The rates displayed on the website (hereinafter referred to as the Rates) are for reference only. To confirm the rate, please send an email to info@pestera.ro or a WhatsApp message to +40727378372.

The Rates include VAT = 11% and breakfast. Breakfast is served daily between 08:00 and 10:30.
Access to the SPA facilities (pools, saunas, etc.) is included for guests staying in 5-star rooms. For guests staying in 4-star rooms, access is available at an additional cost and only subject to availability.

Rates vary depending on the period and the type of room selected. The Rates do not apply during public holidays or special offers.
The hotel management reserves the right to change the periods of special offers without prior notice.

Rates

The hotel accepts cash (Lei), credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), bank transfer (payment is made before accommodation).

Payment methods

  • The parking fee is 50 lei/day. For hotel guests, parking is free of charge.

  • Dedicated spaces are available for motorcycles and bicycles.

  • Parking is at your own risk.

  • No reservations are taken for parking spaces.

  • Although we take all necessary safety measures, the hotel does not assume responsibility for any theft or damage to vehicles on our property.

Parking space and cars

The charging stations can be used via the iHunt app and include:

  • 2 x CCS2, 160 kW DC

  • 7 x Type 2, 11 kW AC

  • 2 x Type 2, 22 kW AC

5 sockets of 230 V dedicated to charging electric bicycles are available free of charge.

We do not assume any liability for items forgotten, lost or allegedly stolen within the property, hotel, restaurant, bar.

Safety of personal belongings

Unless we are informed in advance, all our Rates are calculated for two people.
For accommodation of additional guests (adults) and children in the same room as parents, for the period January 1 - 31.12.2025, please see the table below.

During the period January 1 – 31.12.2025, the accommodation rate includes Breakfast. As a result, the supplement for children, respectively adults, will be added to the accommodation rate for each night of accommodation, according to the table below. Children over 17 years of age are considered adults.

Any type of room occupied as a single has the same accommodation rate as the same room occupied by two people.

Situations other than those in the table cannot be accommodated.

Additional guests; Children policy

Pets are not allowed in the hotel.

Pets

We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or service in the restaurant to guests who are intoxicated, rude or unruly and whose attitude damages the image of the hotel or disturbs other guests.
We do not recommend the use of room towels at the hotel pool.

Drinks and outside food are not allowed in the hotel. It is also forbidden to drink excessively, to make loud noises both inside and outside, or at times that disturb other guests staying at the hotel.
It is forbidden to throw rubbish of any kind, including cigarette butts, in any place other than rubbish bins or ashtrays. It is also forbidden to light fires of any kind.

Behavior

Smoking is not allowed in rooms or public areas.
The hotel room is equipped with a smoke detector, which will trigger the fire alarm.

The restaurant is open daily between 12.30-17.00 and 19.00-22.00.
Breakfast can be served daily between 08:00 -10:30. The hotel management will decide whether to serve it as a buffet or a la carte.
To accommodate additional requests (e.g. dietary restrictions, vegetarians), please mention them at the time of booking.

For special offers, the Terms and Conditions may be modified as appropriate. The terms presented in the offers cancel the terms and conditions mentioned above as appropriate.

In case of non-compliance with one or more restrictions in these regulations, the hotel reserves the right to act according to the law for violating private property or its internal rules.
