The foundation stone of the Peștera Wellness & Spa Hotel was placed in a stainless steel time capsule at the base of the central pillar of the future reception.

"Today, June 27, 2022, inspired by the desire to ensure a brighter future for the mioritic lands of the Bucegi Mountains, in the heart of which for 100 years now, alongside the centuries-old monastic hearth of Peștera Ialomiței, the Peștera Wellness & Spa Hotel establishment has been weaving its history, we sign this FOUNDATION ACT, to remind the generations that will come after us about the beginning of the construction of the new Peștera Wellness & Spa Hotel, which, placed under the protection of the Holy Apostle Andrew, will be inaugurated, in 2023, as a crowning of the centenary of the existence of the first "Shelter for tourists", "Cave House" (1923), here, in Poiana Crucii, Moroeni commune, Dâmbovița county, we, the founders and workers of this project, representatives of the ancestral Orthodox Church, of the county and local authorities, people who "we love the mountain beauties, the history, culture and values of our Romanian people."

The cornerstone of the new 5-star Hotel Peștera ***** Wellness & Spa, the first 5-star hotel in Bucegi, Dâmbovița, was laid.

At this important event for Dâmbovița tourism, the initiators of the project, Valentin Calcan, Dana Calcan, Alexandru Calcan, Andreea Calcan and the young Andrei Calcan, the prefect of Dâmbovița County, Claudia Gilia, the president of the County Council, Corneliu Ștefan, the manager of the Peștera Hotel, Oana Voicu, the chief inspector of the Dâmbovița Territorial Labor Inspectorate, Marius Lixandru and the mayor of Moroeni commune, Laurențiu Moraru, were present.

The first rooms of our hotel are on the verge of a new important stage: the corrugated sheet is installed to become the lost formwork for the floors between the floors.

This process represents an essential step in our construction, contributing to the solidity and durability of the structure, but also to the contouring of the spaces that will house the future rooms.

The corrugated sheet will create the foundation for the floors, providing stability and strength. In the next step, they will be meticulously reinforced to ensure a sturdy and secure structure.

The first delivery of glass arrived safely, marking an important moment in the evolution of our project.

These glass elements will play an essential role in defining and contouring the elegant facade of our hotel, bringing a modern and refined aesthetic.

The quality and transparency of the glass contribute to creating an open and bright atmosphere, offering a stunning view into the hotel interior. These elements not only fulfill their practical functionality, but also bring a distinctive touch of elegance and modernity.

November 2022

On December 1st, Romania Day, we reached a remarkable milestone in the construction of our hotel - the structure reached the roof! This is a significant step that marks the amazing progress of our project and symbolizes the realization of a shared dream.

Our hotel is revealing its contours and starting to take its final shape. This moment coincides with the celebration of Romania's National Day, a special moment that adds special meaning and emotion to our project. On this occasion, we had the honor of mounting the Romanian flag on the top of our building under construction, marking our attachment to the history and values of our country.

December 1, 2022

Our construction site is taking a temporary break during the winter due to weather conditions, especially the presence of snow. This decision is made in the interest of worker safety and to protect the integrity of our project. During cold periods and adverse weather conditions, it is essential to take precautions to ensure the smooth progress of the work and to prevent potential problems.

We are taking advantage of this break to conduct checks and prepare to resume activities once conditions allow. We are ensuring that all equipment and materials are properly protected to maintain the quality of the project and avoid significant delays.
